Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice and Global Private Equity Industry Group with the addition of Domenico Fanuele as a partner.

"The addition of a leading M&A and private equity partner in Italy will support the development of our internationally focused M&A practice in Europe and globally," said White & Case partner John Reiss, Head of the Firm's Global M&A Practice. "Domenico will add bench strength and experience that will make us even better positioned to advise our global clients on their high-end, complex and cross-border M&A transactions."

Domenico advises investment banks, corporates, private equity and real estate funds on private and public M&A, capital markets transactions and strategic joint ventures. He is dual qualified to practice in both Italy and New York. Domenico brings more than 25 years of experience and joins White & Case from Studio Legale Associato Shearman & Sterling, where he was a partner and head of the Rome and Milan offices and the Italian corporate practice.

"Domenico is well known and respected in the Italian market as a board level trusted adviser who has advised on some of the most significant M&A and private equity deals involving Italian companies and investors," said Michael Immordino, White & Case Office Executive Partner in Milan. “His considerable international experience and global contacts make him a great addition to the Firm and his specialization in real estate transactions complements the expertise of our Italian practice in private equity and M&A."

White & Case partner and Vice Chair Oliver Brettle said: "Domenico's experience and profile further strengthen both our Global M&A Practice and a number of our key industry groups, notably private equity, real estate, financial institutions and infrastructure, transportation and logistics. His arrival follows the addition of a number of high-profile lateral M&A and private equity partners across our offices in the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific as we continue to invest in this priority practice."

Since the start of 2024 White & Case has welcomed a number of notable partner additions to the Firm's Global M&A Practice and Global Private Equity Industry Group, including Taurie Zeitzer and Keith Hallam in New York, Patrick Sarch in London, John Cahill in New York and Hong Kong, Sten Olsson in Helsinki and Alan Bao in Beijing.
